Whats included?
You’ll start your day in Fort Collins before heading out in a classic Land Rover Defender. Each trip includes all the gear you’ll need— snow shoes and poles. Winter weather gear and gaitors are avaiable upon request.

Exploring Colorado’s backcountry routes on pillow-soft powder in winter is scenic, peaceful, and will make you feel like you have the mountains all to yourself. Snowshoeing is easy to learn, fun for everyone, and can be a great high energy cardio workout. Join us for an unforgettable day on one of the many pristine Colorado backcountry trails.

Snowshoeing to Nymph Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park offers a fantastic beginner-friendly winter experience, starting from the popular Bear Lake Trailhead, with a short, packed half-mile trek through trees to the lake, providing a gentle introduction to snowshoeing before potentially continuing to Dream & Emerald Lakes, though expect cold, snowy conditions and well-trafficked, wide trails.

Any of your own equipment that you would like to use. You should dress for cold weathers but at minimum snow pants, jacket, gloves, a medium sized back pack, sunscreen, goggles or sunglasses
