Hire charges are calculated from the total hours between collecting and returning the vehicle. The daily hire rates below represent the cost per 24 hour period. If the daily hire rate is $180, you effectively pay $7.50 per hour for each hour you have the car.

Our minimum hire period is 3 nights / 4 days: shorter hires are possible, but will be subject to a minimum rate equivalent to hiring for this period. Our hire rates are shown below, and are inclusive of the following.

Insurance:

Provided for drivers aged between 23 and 75 years old and with a clean license. A premium may be payable for those outside of the age range or with points on their license.

Additionally, the following may be purchased at extra cost:

• Insurance cover for additional drivers - £4 per driver per day

• Damage excess reduction (reduces hirer’s maximum liability for damages to £500) - £20 per day

Deposits and Cancellation :

A non-refundable deposit of $250 is required to secure a booking (which contributes towards the final invoiced amount).  The balance of the hire charge is due 4 weeks before collection.  Credit card details are required before collection to cover the insurance excess ($1500). This is processed as a ‘pre-authoristaion’ which means a ‘block’ is placed on the credit card, rather than funds being deducted up-front.
